Patient Safety Awareness Week was held from March 13-19 as part of the United for Patient Safety campaign, sponsored by the National Patient Safety Foundation. It is the start of a year-round effort to increase awareness about patient safety and reinforce the need for everyone in the health care system to stand united in keeping patients safe and free from harm.
