779th Medical Group united for patient safety

Patient Safety Awareness Week was held from March 13-19 as part of the United for Patient Safety campaign, sponsored by the National Patient Safety Foundation. It is the start of a year-round effort to increase awareness about patient safety and reinforce the need for everyone in the health care system to stand united in keeping patients safe and free from harm.

"Patient safety is a public health concern. We are all patients. We all have a stake in the safety of our health care system," said Natasha Sutton, 779th Medical Group (MDG) Air Force Safety Program Manager.
