With the start of the New Year, many will share in the age old tradition of creating a New Year's resolution. Yes, those ardent promises that we make to ourselves year, after year, after year to do, or not do something. No matter how hard we try, it seems like eventually, those resolutions will escape our grasp. You know the ones, "finish those classes," "make those gains in the gym," "lose the unwanted weight," "spend more time with family," or "improve spiritual fitness." These probably sound familiar and may even be goals you have made for yourself. In any case, it seems no matter how well intentioned, life does not always agree and we can lose focus on our newly prioritized goals.
