Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) encourages families with special needs to plan ahead, prior to relocating

When it's time to relocate, families with special medical and educational concerns need to plan ahead and coordinate their unique requirements with Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) staff to ensure a smooth transition. While the National Capital Area is blessed with a plethora of services, when military personnel are relocated to a new area, it may be hard, if not impossible, for them to find the special medical and educational resources they need. EFMP staff help military families ensure they have all the services they need when they get to their new location.
